Gaining Access to SAP

SAP Account Requests

Requests for a new SAP account or to change/delete a current SAP account are submitted by the SAP Security Initiator for your department or unit. If you do not know who your SAP Security Initiator is, please review the Security Initiator List or contact Accounting Systems Administration at 919-684-2752.

If you are the department's Security Initiator, please review the Security Administration Guide for further instruction and assistance.

To modify SAP security access, go to the Duke@Work portal, Security Admin tab.

To gain access to Business Warehouse (BW), follow these steps:

1. Make sure you have security access to use BW via your SAP Security Initiator.
2. Contact Desktop Support for your department and ask to for installation of the latest version of SAPgui, which includes BWP - Business Warehouse Production, according to the instructions on the OIT Knowledge Base article KB0032058.
